Catalogue published on the occasion of calligrapher Wang Fangyu’s solo exhibition Pictures of the Mind: The Art of Wang Fangyu, held at the Arthur M. Sackler Museum of Art and Archaeology at Peking University in China, from December 2012 to February 2013.
The exhibition showcases Wang Fangyu’s works of Chinese calligraphy with cultural references from traditional Chinese proverbs, history, literature, and totem. It also includes works by Qi Baishi and Bada Shanren collected by Wang Fangyu.
