Yellow Cucumber

Yellow cucumbers make me realize that painting can achieve many possibilities out of simple things. Still lifes allow one to contemplate; the intricate textures are harmonious with the way the plants grow. Such an insipid composition makes one concentrate on the subject, as if the cucumbers are saying that “I am not expressing anything, but this is me in my entirety.” When language returns to a state of acoustic vibrations, which are themselves complete expressions. A shout, a sigh, a howl requires no translation.
