"Hazy Mirage" presents an aesthetic realm that is both real and fantastical, concrete yet ephemeral. Within this realm, light and shadow intertwine, reality and fantasy blend, and clouds of mist appear faintly within ambiguous boundaries. The reflection of sunset clouds, the powder of Prussian blue ink, and the flowing texture of ochre on cicada-wing paper are dyed and blurred through techniques of breaking ink, splashing ink, and accumulating ink, applied on both sides of the paper, creating dynamic beauty. Under Yau Wing Fung's brush, mountains and stones, clouds and water reflect each other, boundless and formless.
「蜃」为吐雾造海市蜃楼的神话生物,象征着幻象或是难以触及的美景。「暮」指傍晚或日落时分,一天之中光线变化最为温柔、景色最为柔和的时刻。「蜃暮」的创作源于邱荣丰在泰国云游途中偶遇火烧云映射于水面的壮观景象,这激发了他将此情此景描摹下来的欲望。
此系列呈现一种既真实又幻想,既具体又模糊的美学意境。在这其中,光与影,实与幻交织,若隐若现的烟云在暧昧的界限中氤氲。火烧云的反射、脱胶花青墨粉末和赭石橙色的流动性肌理在蝉衣纸上晕染,通过破墨、泼墨、积墨技法,在蝉衣纸的正反面进行湿染和擦染,形成一种动态的美。邱荣丰笔下,山与石、云与水交相辉映,无界也无形。
