72.4 x 143.5 cmTogether with After Lu Zhi of the first rotation, this kaleidoscopic landscape is one of Chang’s earliest experiments in transcribing in pencil and then erasing the text of Hua yü...Together with After Lu Zhi of the first rotation, this kaleidoscopic landscape is one of Chang’s earliest experiments in transcribing in pencil and then erasing the text of Hua yü lu (Enlightening Remarks on Painting) by the greatest seventeenth-century individualist painter Shitao (1642-1707). With only faint outlines of the text left on paper, Chang painted the mountains in grand scale with fluttering ink lines and washed them in delicate shades of pale yellowish red, with blackish green trees along the hills and lower valley, evoking an imagined landscape of exuberance and liveliness.
这幅《千变万化》同第一期展览中的《仿陆治》一樣,是張洪早期实验的作品之一:先用铅笔誊写十七世纪最伟大的个人主义画家石涛(1642-1707年)《画语录》中的文字,然后再将其擦除,使纸上只留下微弱的文字轮廓。張洪再以飘逸的墨线描绘宏伟的山脉,并以淡淡的黄红色进行晕染,同时在山间及低谷处点缀上墨绿色树木,勾勒出一幅充满活力和生机的山水画。
