Angles #2: Here, Cherney’s photographic excerpt telescopes on a small section of the eroded landscape of the Loess Plateau (Mizhi county, Shaanxi province). Chang creates a subtle tension between the photo and the brushwork by expanding on the dominant triangular form with a landscape that flows outward in multiple directions.
