My garden walls off the stinking fumes of the world;Its clear expanses beckon to winds from afar.
卜室倚北阜，啓扉面南江。
I chose a site for my house, hard by the northern hill,Then opened my door to look on the southern stream.
激澗代汲井，插槿當列墉。
I dammed the creek to do service for a well,And planted fences to serve in place of a wall.
