The artist explores a three-dimensional interpretation of calligraphy brushwork, merging traditional techniques with contemporary design. The piece begins with a handwritten passage, which serves as the foundation for developing unique character forms. These forms were meticulously refined using Illustrator and crafted from MDF material with a CNC machine. Each character is thoughtfully assembled on a panel, painted with vibrant enamel colors, and secured using epoxy resin. The outcome reflects a modern twist on classical calligraphy, embodying the artist's personal connection to the lotus—a symbol of resilience and renewal, representing the journey of rising from the depths of adversity to achieve beauty and strength.
